Within the framework of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) “Women in Chemistry” Project, funded by the European Union, the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) are calling for women active in the chemical safety and security sector who can support the Institute in the identification of best practices on women’s engagement in this field.
From 10-12 May 2022 in Nairobi, the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) organized the workshop “Using authentication technologies and nuclear analytical techniques to counter criminal infiltration into the legitimate supply chain: the cases of fuel frauds, illegal pesticides, illegal fishing and counterfeit medicines”.
The purpose of the Guidebook is to provide police and civil prosecutors, and relevant investigative agencies, with guidance to support the successful prosecution of incidents involving the deliberate use of a chemical or biological agents.
